Cerebrospinal Fluid
One of three primary fluid networks running through the entire body, conducting light and electricity through metallic minerals to power nervous system signaling. Toxic free radical metals, chiefly from vaccines and cooked food, corrupt this medium and drive most modern neurological conditions.
Neurological fluid is one of three primary fluid networks that Aajonus Vonderplanitz identified as running through the entire body, alongside the bloodstream and the lymphatic system. Where blood is dedicated to energy production and lymph to feeding and cleansing the cells, neurological fluid serves an entirely different master: it transmits light and conducts electricity throughout the nervous system and brain, allowing the body to function with conscious and automatic control. Aajonus described this fluid as the thinnest of the three, comparing it in consistency to egg white, or even thinner in some parts of the network. Its primary medium of operation is not protein or fat in the way blood and lymph are characterized, but metallic minerals, which reflect light and conduct electrical signals the way silicone chips conduct information in a computer.
Because the nervous system and brain operate on this transfer of electromagnetic energy and light, the neurological fluid naturally concentrates whatever metallic minerals are available in the body. In a healthy body fed raw, unprocessed foods, those metallic trace minerals arrive in their natural ionic bonds with vitamins and other compounds, and they serve the system well. Aajonus explained that the brain uses aluminum, iron, mercury, lead, cadmium, zinc, iodine, arsenic, and all of the other trace metallic minerals in these small, naturally bonded amounts to run its light-and-electricity communication network. Once you introduce cooking, industrial processing, vaccines, and environmental pollution, those same metals arrive as free radicals, cauterized and stripped of their natural molecular bonds, and the neurological fluid becomes a repository for damage rather than a medium for communication. Aajonus identified this toxic overload of the neurological fluid as the root cause of most neurological conditions observed in modern humans, from attention disorders and depression to Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and autism.
Composition and Physical Properties
Aajonus described neurological fluid as the thinnest fluid system in the body, thinner than blood serum and significantly thinner than lymph. Its consistency approximates egg white, and in some portions of the network it is even thinner than that. Unlike lymph, which can be milky or translucent depending on its stage in the lacteal system, neurological fluid is described primarily by its metallic orientation. Metallic minerals are concentrated throughout it because the nervous system's core operations, reflection of light and conduction of electricity, require metallic elements to function.
The fluid runs through an extremely fine web network that extends throughout every microscopic region of the body. Aajonus noted that anatomists have names for the finest channels of this network, comparable to capillaries in the bloodstream, but that most people are not educated at the level required to know those names. The network reaches every part of the body that requires neural signaling, operating alongside but separate from the bloodstream and lymphatic network.
Aajonus stated clearly that in a healthy, non-toxic body, the neurological fluid does not transport nutrients. Transporting nutrients is the job of the lymph system and, in a compromised body, of the bloodstream. The normal and exclusive job of neurological fluid is to transport information, which it accomplishes through the transmission of light and the conduction of electrical signals. He acknowledged that in highly toxic bodies, when the lymph glands are overloaded and failing to deliver nutrients to cells, both blood and neurological fluid may take on nutrient-delivery roles they were not designed for, but he framed this as a sign of systemic dysfunction rather than a healthy adaptive capacity.
How the Fluid System Operates
Aajonus compared the operation of the neurological fluid system to the way a computer uses silicone chips: the chips do not perform the computation themselves but provide the medium through which electrical information flows at high speed. In the body, metallic minerals provide that medium. They reflect light and conduct electricity, and the resulting signals are what allows the brain to communicate with and control the body, whether consciously or automatically.
He emphasized that the speed of transmission in the neurological fluid is distinct from the flow rate of the fluid itself. The flow of the neurological fluid as a physical substance is slower than the flow of blood but faster than the very slow flow of lymph. However, when measuring the transmission of light and electricity through the fluid, which is what actually carries information, that transmission is the fastest event in the body, effectively instantaneous for biological purposes.
The system allows a person to control every deliberate body movement as well as every automatic function, from heartbeat and respiration to complex motor coordination such as climbing or performing athletic feats. Aajonus used the example of acrobats and circus performers to illustrate what a functional, well-nourished neurological system can accomplish when the brain is not overloaded with toxic metals.
The Role of Metallic Minerals
Metallic minerals are the defining nutritional requirement of the neurological fluid system. Aajonus listed aluminum, iron, mercury, lead, cadmium, zinc, iodine, arsenic, and thallium as examples of trace minerals that appear in the nervous system and brain in their natural states. He pointed out that approximately one hundred years ago, humans could distinguish around one million colors because the neurological fluid contained sufficient functional trace minerals in their natural, properly bonded forms to support that level of visual resolution. He noted that modern people are lucky if they can distinguish five hundred colors, and attributed that degradation to the displacement of naturally bonded metallic minerals by free radical, cauterized versions introduced through cooked food, industrial chemicals, and vaccines.
Aajonus explained that when food is cooked, the heat fractures the ionic bonds between metallic minerals and the vitamins and other compounds they naturally bind with in raw food. This produces free radical metals: chemically reactive, unbound metallic ions that no longer function properly in the neurological system but still accumulate there because the brain and nervous system attract metals by their nature. He stated that whenever he examined irises, he found the highest concentrations of stored metals in the brain area, and that this accumulation produces mental confusion, cognitive blocking, mood disorders, and progressive neurological disease.
He also described what happens when aluminum specifically enters the neurological fluid. Aluminum is described as a high-proton substance with strong magnetic properties that destroys the zeta potential of any fluid it enters. The zeta potential is the electrical property that keeps nutrients suspended in a fluid rather than falling out of suspension. In an aquarium, Aajonus said, liquid aluminum causes fish to fall to the bottom and be unable to swim. In the neurological fluid, aluminum destroys the fluid's ability to keep minerals and nutrients in suspension, meaning that synaptic signals fire but then lose momentum and dissipate rather than traveling through the full neural pathway. He described this as the signal reaching the dendrites and then sitting in the walls of the veins and arteries between neural structures instead of completing its journey. The experiential result is thoughts that begin and then vanish, misplaced intentions, and the general cognitive fog people describe as not being able to hold a thought.
Mercury, in contrast, produces a more severe and permanent form of damage. While aluminum causes synaptic signals to dissipate without completing their path, mercury fragments and destroys neuron cells entirely. Aajonus referenced the University of Calgary and University of Alberta video demonstrations multiple times across different workshops, describing them as time-lapse photography of neurons growing in a Petri dish. In the video, a 2% solution of thimerosal, which is liquid mercury used in vaccines and some medical preparations, is introduced, and the neurons begin dissolving and disappearing immediately without the mercury even coming into direct contact with them. He noted that the mercury vapor alone, traveling through the medium of the dish, causes the neurons to disintegrate from a distance. When mercury destroys neurons, any memories or information stored in those cells are permanently lost. Aajonus stated that mercury targets the communication centers of the brain, citing his own autism following childhood tetanus vaccines as an example. He distinguished between aluminum-caused problems, where memories are blocked and inaccessible but potentially recoverable, and mercury-caused problems, where the neural substrate storing those memories is physically destroyed.
He stated that in laboratory tests conducted during the first 24 hours after mercury exposure, only 7% is relieved through the urinary tract and 24% through other channels, meaning the vast majority is retained in the body. He also stated that mercury locks into tissues indefinitely unless specific measures are taken to remove it, and that this applies to animals as well as humans.
Toxic Loading and Neurological Conditions
Aajonus attributed the majority of modern neurological and psychiatric conditions to toxic overloading of the neurological fluid, particularly with free radical metallic minerals from vaccines, cooked and processed food, industrial pollutants, and environmental sources such as coal smoke and medical preparations containing mercury. He cited liquid mercury in the form of thimerosal in vaccines, eye drops, methylate, and mercurochrome as major sources. He also mentioned aluminum from vaccines and food additives, along with pesticides and food preservatives, which he described as always metallically based.
He explained that because the neurological fluid system attracts and concentrates metallic minerals by its nature, it becomes the primary destination for any free radical metals introduced into the body. When those metals arrive in sufficient quantity, the fluid becomes a medium for damage rather than communication. The specific conditions he attributed to neurological fluid toxicity include autism, ADD, ADHD, schizophrenia, depression, learning disorders, psychotropic and behavioral disorders, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and general cognitive decline.
For Alzheimer's, Aajonus described the combined action of mercury and aluminum as central. Mercury destroys neurons outright, while aluminum destroys the zeta potential and causes nutrients to fall out of suspension, so the two together produce the comprehensive neurological disintegration seen in Alzheimer's patients. He noted that in people who develop Alzheimer's later in life, such as at 85 or 90, the toxic metals simply took longer to reach the critical brain centers because the body could only use about 5% of the brain to begin with, and those specific centers were not reached until late in life.
For multiple sclerosis, he identified metal toxicity and chemical toxicity, combined with enzyme deficiency, as the chief causes. He described MS as deterioration of the protective coating of the nerves, including the myelin sheath, and stated that the myelin sheath can be as much as 80% fat, making it particularly vulnerable to the kinds of solvent and caustic damage produced by free radical metals and toxic bile. He recommended raw fish as the primary food to restore the myelin, calling it the only thing that can restore the myelin sheath itself, and recommended raw cream as a complementary support for nerve coating.
For autism, he stated directly that mercury in vaccines targets the communication centers of the brain. He cited his own case as an example: he had been an early talker in his family, saying his first word at five and a half months of age, and after his third tetanus shot, mercury entered his communication center and made him autistic. He described the mercury from his vaccines going into his brain and jamming synaptic fire, disrupting ganglia and axons, impairing rational and practical thinking, and generally preventing normal brain function.
He noted that children in New Jersey were receiving 68 vaccines by the age of fifteen and a half, children in New York 52, and children in California over 30, and that each vaccine containing thimerosal introduced approximately 76,000 trillion molecules of mercury into the developing nervous system. He described the cumulative neurological burden on vaccinated children as the explanation for the epidemic of ADD, ADHD, autism, and learning disorders.
The Meninges and Headache Mechanics
Aajonus described the meninges, which he often called the meningitis or meningi, as the protective coating system surrounding the brain and spinal cord. He stated it consists of approximately 8 to 11 layers of connective tissue between the skull and the brain neurons. He was precise on the point that the neurons themselves have no nerve endings and therefore register no pain. Brain surgery can be performed while the patient is awake and conversing, because the neurons have no pain receptors. The meninges, however, are densely loaded with nerve endings, and all head pain is registered there.
He explained headaches mechanically as follows: the brain retains water or swells for various reasons, including toxic overload, and that swelling presses outward against the meninges and the skull. Because the skull does not expand, the pressure is entirely borne by the meninges, and those nerve-rich layers register the pain as a headache. Salt deposits in the brain were identified as a common cause of meningeal swelling. He recommended allowing the skull's natural fissures to open, meaning releasing tension and allowing the skull to expand slightly with the brain's swelling, as a way to relieve the mechanical pressure. He stated that simply doing this would eliminate approximately 80% of a headache, and the remainder could be addressed with headache formulas from his book, which include combinations of lemon, honey, sparkling mineral water, and cream in varying ratios.
Neurological Fluid and Carbohydrates
Aajonus identified high carbohydrate consumption as a secondary cause of neurological fluid dysfunction, distinct from but compounding the damage done by toxic metals. When the body processes large amounts of carbohydrates and sugars, it continually produces glycogen throughout the day. The breakdown products of cooked carbohydrates include advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which he described as extraordinarily sticky substances that are the worst waste products ever produced in the body. He noted that even raw carbohydrates produce some AGEs, which is why he considered carbohydrates generally inappropriate for the human body, but that cooked carbohydrates are far worse.
These sticky AGE compounds enter the neurological fluid and cause it to thicken and become tacky. The result is that synaptic signals, instead of firing cleanly across the neural gap and traveling through the axons and ganglia to the correct brain centers, skid and stick to the walls of the axons and ganglia. Thoughts begin and then get lost. Concentration fails. Aajonus described children who go to school after eating cereals, donuts, and pancakes as operating with neurological fluid so sticky that the synapse fires and then slides sideways rather than completing its arc to the target brain center.
He recommended keeping carbohydrate intake very low throughout the morning hours to maintain clear neurological fluid during the period when mental function is most demanded. He suggested not eating fruit until the afternoon, starting the day with vegetable juice and then a meat meal with fat, so that the neurological fluid stays fluid and unimpeded during the first half of the day.
He also described the interaction between sticky neurological fluid and elevated blood oxygen as particularly problematic. When oxygen is elevated in blood that already contains AGE-sticky compounds, the blood cells clump together like gum or like magnets, further impeding the flow of both blood and neurological fluid.
Neurological Fluid and Emotional Trauma
Aajonus referenced research by Elora Van Winkle, who spent 47 to 48 years cataloging the composition of the nervous system for Milhouser Laboratories at New York City Medical Center. He described her research as mapping every nutrient, compound, and chemical making up the nervous system and brain. She identified specific waste products produced in the neurological system during physical or emotional trauma. When the body experiences trauma, it produces certain hormones, and those hormones leave neurological waste products in the fluid. Aajonus used her findings to explain why people experience emotional upsets that seem disconnected from any current experience in their lives: the neurological waste products from past traumas are stored in the tissue and fluid, and when they are later mobilized and re-enter the neurological fluid during detoxification, they recreate the emotional and physiological experience of the original trauma.
Lubrication Formula in Neurological Contexts
In correspondence and consultation, Aajonus used the Lubrication Formula in contexts involving neurological detoxification. One case in the source material describes a person who had received a rough massage to the head, which triggered severe head pain lasting days and a flu-like feeling. The Lubrication Formula was implicated in a subsequent nausea episode, which Aajonus indicated was likely the liver responding to the mobilization of toxins from the neurological tissue being worked on during the massage. He described the lubrication formula as helping to hydrate, clean, and resolve burning and dryness in brain tissue, and he recommended having it every night in cases of brain ulceration and seepage.
Consuming Brain Tissue For Repair
Aajonus discussed consuming raw animal brain tissue as a support for neurological repair, specifically citing calf brain. He described a protocol of alternating between a high-bacteria (aged) portion of the brain and a fresh portion on successive days, because neurological tissue is so important that he preferred not to use only the high-bacteria version continuously. To age one portion, he placed it in a large jar with plenty of air to accelerate bacterial development. To keep the other portion fresh, he placed it in a sealed jar with no air. He stated he would take a calf brain roughly the size of a softball and spend five days eating it at this alternating pace.
He also described a personal incident in which he was consuming buffalo brain for neurological support and discovered that the buffalo had been vaccinated, meaning the brain tissue he was eating contained mercury. He stated that mercury poisoning stays in the nervous system for an entire lifetime unless specific measures are taken to remove it, and that a buffalo would have no way to clear it. He noted that despite this incident, his own strong diet protocols protected him from further neurological damage from that source, and that no residual showed up in his irises.
Neurological Fluid Support Foods
Aajonus identified several foods as specifically supportive of the neurological fluid and nervous system:
Raw fish was identified as the primary food for restoring the myelin sheath on nerve fibers, including in cases of multiple sclerosis. He stated it is the only food capable of restoring myelin itself, and that any fish could serve this purpose, including scallops and deep-sea fish.
Raw cream was described as phenomenal for soothing and nurturing nerve tissue. Raw butter and raw coconut cream were recommended alongside raw cream for dissolving and neutralizing caustic substances such as toxic bile that might be damaging nerve sheaths and spinal tissue.
Raw warm milk was described as supplying many alkalizing minerals that can attract and bind with toxins in the brain that are causing irritation and headaches. In one case Aajonus described, raw warm milk was recommended for a patient whose brain toxins were concentrated on one side and producing headaches and mental disturbance.
The Lubrication Formula was used to hydrate brain and neural tissue, particularly in cases where there was dryness, burning, and ulceration in brain or sinus tissue.
Vegetable juice with a composition of approximately 60% celery, 20% parsley, 10% white or green cabbage (not red), and 10% parsley was recommended for conditions involving ulcerations in the brain and sinuses, with the cabbage juice specifically intended to help close ulcerations and stop seepage.
Celery juice at high concentrations (80 to 90%) was recommended in more acute detoxification contexts requiring salts to help break up material, prevent gangrene progression in severe conditions, and keep fluid moving.
Bone marrow mixed with butter applied externally was recommended for animals with neurological damage from vaccine-related metal toxicity.
Keeping carbohydrate intake low throughout the morning was described as the dietary management tool for keeping neurological fluid thin and unimpeded on a daily basis.
Hot baths, taken multiple times daily, were the primary protocol for moving toxic fluid waste out of the body through the skin during viral neurological detoxifications, including viral meningitis. He specified that in the absence of a bathtub, seven hot water bottles placed around the body could serve the same function.
