Acne, in Aajonus's framework, is not a disease to be eliminated or suppressed, it is a sign that the body is successfully performing one of its most fundamental survival functions: discharging toxins through the skin. The skin is the body's primary waste-elimination organ, responsible for discharging 90% of all the toxins and waste in the body. The remaining 10% exits through the mucous membranes and intestines. Acne, rashes, hives, pimples, and pustulations are all expressions of this process, the body attempting to push poisonous substances out through the pores.
Aajonus's Definition
Acne, in Aajonus's framework, is not a disease to be eliminated or suppressed, it is a sign that the body is successfully performing one of its most fundamental survival functions: discharging toxins through the skin. The skin is the body's primary waste-elimination organ, responsible for discharging 90% of all the toxins and waste in the body. The remaining 10% exits through the mucous membranes and intestines. Acne, rashes, hives, pimples, and pustulations are all expressions of this process, the body attempting to push poisonous substances out through the pores.
"We want acne," Aajonus stated plainly. In his framework, acne is something to be welcomed, not feared or suppressed. The medical approach, stopping the process through drugs, topical treatments, or laser surgery, only forces the toxins to remain in the body, where they will eventually cause far more serious disease. He stated explicitly: "You don't want to stop that process. That's what the medical profession does. They stop that process so you contain the poisons in the body and create some other disease."
Zits, specifically, are what happens when toxins leave through the pores, where the toxins are so toxic that white blood cells surround them and escort them out of the body. That escort process causes the pore to swell and stretch, "like a rectum that gets split and bleeds", and that is the experience of a zit. The swelling, the redness, the pus, all of this is the body's white blood cells doing their job.
Blackheads are the same process, except that it is red blood cells rather than white blood cells that have surrounded the toxins, and this is usually associated with heavy metals, specifically iron, as in iron supplements. Aajonus noted that blackheads increase tremendously when people take one-a-day vitamins.
Pus is the byproduct of white blood cells escorting toxins out of the pores. The "lesions" that form, the cellular sores that weep, are caused by the chemistry, size, or sharpness of the toxic mass passing through the pore, which burns, splits, or lacerates the cellular walls of the skin. Some toxic residues act like glass on a microscopic level, and their sharp edges cut the pore tissue as they pass through.
---
Root Cause
Aajonus identified multiple layers of causation for acne, and each layer is important to understand separately:
The most specific and direct cause of acne that Aajonus identified is the lack of enzyme-mutations for utilizing cooked red and orange fruits and vegetables. When red or orange pigmented foods are cooked, the fat within them undergoes a transformation such that the body cannot break it down, assimilate it, or utilize it properly. This creates resins and residues in the body. The body then binds these resins and residues with numerous white cells (antibodies) and fat molecules, and attempts to discard this bound mass through the skin.
Because of the chemistry, the size of the mass, or the sharpness of the residues (often acting like glass on a microscopic level), the toxins burn, split, or lacerate the cellular walls of the skin as they pass through the pores, creating lesions, cellular sores that weep and form pus. That is acne. That is the direct mechanism.
He emphasized that this applies even to foods with red components that are not visually obvious as red, for example, cooked carrots, because there is red in them. The enzyme-mutation deficiency is specific to the red and orange spectrum of cooked pigment. The body simply does not have the genetic enzymatic mutations to process these cooked colored fats.
He noted from iridology readings: "I can tell by the scars on her chin that she had some allergy there, and particular glands were dumping it out right there. So she has an allergy to cooked red foods. It's not an extreme allergy, but it's there." The location of breakouts on the face corresponds to specific glands doing the dumping.
He was specifically asked how he could tell it was the red ones. He answered: "Because that corresponds to breaking out. Pimples. And it may be just certain red foods. But why take a chance at this time?" He further explained: "You can have different allergies for different cooked colors of food. But the acne usually appears from allergy to cooked red. That means even if you have cooked carrots because there is red in it."
He also noted that all bottled or canned tomato sauces are included in this category, cooked red foods. Avoiding all of these usually eliminates acne.
Aajonus was unequivocal: "All skin disorders are caused by industrial chemicals." He observed that skin disorders such as rashes, acne, and hives should be expected because we are so heavily burdened with industrial chemicals that must exit through the skin. When these industrial chemical molecules, from drugs, food preservatives, pesticides, vaccines, synthetic vitamins, and all manner of processed foods, are brought to the skin's surface and attempt to exit through the pores, they cause damage to the cells along the way.
He traced the historical emergence of acne to the rise of processed and canned food. He said: "When did acne become a predominant issue in teenagers? Same time as canned food? Fifties. Sure, acne appeared maybe in 20% of the population because people ate some processed food and all ate cooked food."
He described in detail how preservatives, including formaldehyde, which was used in candy historically and continues to be used in modern processed foods, create molecules that the body then has to try to push out through the pores, causing the pockmarks and scarring seen in teenage acne. "Children didn't have those kind of pockmarks before vaccines. It was not a teenage thing to have that much acne. Of course, they were getting into candy. Candy was now available and stuff like that. That's when children started having acne."
He also pointed to vaccine residues as a causative factor. He described how vaccine molecules, concentrated chemical substances that no natural process could produce in the human body, when they try to leave through the skin, "going through this cluster of minerals, are still going to be irritating tissue around. One molecule is going to create substantial damage. Two molecules in there, substantial, much more damage."
Specific drug residues, cocaine, Novocain, Lidocain, require 200–4,000 white and/or fat cells to arrest and eliminate one single molecule of toxin. When that massive bound cluster has to exit through a pore, the skin is torn, lesions occur, and inflammation results. This is acne at its most extreme, caused by pharmaceutical and recreational drug residues in the body.
He also noted: "I have seen skin disorders caused by raw meat, when frozen. Freezing in a machine is an industrial process that causes many chemical byproducts. Do not eat meats that have been frozen."
Aajonus explained why teenagers are particularly susceptible to acne. During the teenage years, the body undergoes a massive hormonal transition. The glands are altering hormonal production, which is a major physiological change. The glands throw off accumulated toxins during this transition, and those toxins are sent to the skin. Additionally, the brain undergoes a huge realignment at this time. The pituitary becomes more active because of the toxicity. The bone marrow stops producing all the growth hormones it normally produces, so the brain kicks in to compensate, and this detoxification expresses on the face. "That's where most of the acne is," he said.
When teenagers also consume soda pop from cans and other processed foods during this period, the acne becomes significantly worse.
Aajonus recounted his personal experience as a teenager: He was put on Nalox (an antacid drug described as "like drinking a whole bottle of chalk") to treat a huge ulcer in his stomach caused by excessive caffeine. The Nalox arrested all his hydrochloric acid production. And as a result, he did not have acne as a teenager. He referenced this as an example of how suppressing the body's chemistry can prevent a detox symptom, but at the cost of deeper systemic damage. He did not frame his lack of teenage acne as a sign of health; the context makes clear it was a sign of an arrested detox process.

Why This Happens
Acne in Aajonus's framework belongs simultaneously to multiple principles of his causal sequence:
Detoxification is the primary principle. Acne is detoxification happening through the body's primary waste-elimination route, the skin. Ninety percent of all toxins and body waste are supposed to leave through the skin. Acne is what detoxification looks like when the skin is discharging particularly irritating substances. The entire framing of acne shifts completely once this is understood: acne is not a malfunction, it is the body functioning correctly.
Cooked Food is the specific trigger principle for the most common form of acne. The lack of enzyme-mutations for cooked red and orange pigmented foods is a direct consequence of cooking, it is the heated, damaged fat from those red and orange foods that cannot be processed properly and becomes the resin and residue that the body then must discard through the skin.
Terrain Theory is the underlying principle. The body is maintaining a particular internal chemistry, and when toxins accumulate beyond what can be neutralized internally through the lymphatic system, they must exit. The skin becomes the main exit route. The condition of the terrain, how much fat the body has, how functional the lymphatic system is, how burdened the system is with industrial chemicals, determines how severe and how prolonged the acne will be.
Raw Food is the resolution principle. The transition to raw foods and raw fat is what allows the body to properly process nutrients, protect cells as toxins exit, and ultimately resolve the underlying burden.
Sovereignty is the framework principle. Aajonus was emphatic that the medical approach to acne, stopping the detox process through drugs, topical chemicals, or laser surgery, is not only wrong but actively harmful. He mocked the medical mentality: "Oh, you've got acne? Here, take this drug or take this laser surgery and let's stretch your face so you look like a stretched drum." The choice to let the body detox through acne, rather than suppress it, is a sovereignty choice.

Symptoms Reframed
Conventional medicine sees pimples and pustulations as pathological, bacterial infections to be killed with antibiotics, excess sebum to be dried with chemicals, or clogged pores to be chemically cleared. Aajonus reframes all of this. Pimples are toxins leaving through the pores. White blood cells surround the toxins to escort them out. The resulting swelling and pus are simply the white blood cells doing their job. The pus is the white blood cells, which have sacrificed themselves in the process of removing the toxin from the body.
He described the pore's experience during a pimple as analogous to a rectum that gets split and bleeds, the pore is being stretched by the volume and mass of the toxin-and-white-blood-cell bundle passing through it, and the tearing and weeping that results is the "lesion", the cellular sore.
Blackheads are the same elimination process, but it is red blood cells rather than white blood cells that have surrounded the toxin mass. This is usually associated with heavy metal toxicity, specifically iron. Aajonus noted that blackheads increase dramatically when people take one-a-day vitamin supplements, because the iron in those supplements creates this exact process. The black color is the red blood cell–iron–heavy metal cluster at the surface of the pore.
Scarring from acne is the damage left behind after the toxic mass has torn, burned, or lacerated the cellular walls as it exited through the pore. Aajonus confirmed this mechanism. He also described a specific case with actor Tony Plana, who had been "heavily scarred from acne." When a particular topical substance was applied, it helped break down the scarring over time, though the trade-off was that it caused the skin to smell like vomit. Aajonus noted: "He probably has a tenth of what he used to have. And it cleaned the scarring up wonderfully."
He described papaya specifically as being able to help remove acne scars when used topically in clay paste.
All of these are in the same category as acne, they are different expressions of toxins being eliminated through the skin. Rashes indicate something "pretty poisonous" is leaving through the skin via the lymphatic system. Hives are another form of the same process. Pockmarks are specifically associated with the damage caused by vaccine residues and highly concentrated chemical molecules trying to exit through the pores.
Aajonus stated: "If you wonder why you have acne, why you have rashes, you should be happy. None of the poisons are leaving that way", meaning, if you didn't have acne, the toxins would be forced out through the intestines (damaging digestion and absorption), or stored in the body (causing cancer or severe disease). He framed the absence of acne in a toxic individual as potentially more dangerous than its presence.

Food Protocol
The single most impactful dietary change for resolving the most common form of acne is to stop eating cooked red and orange fruits and vegetables entirely. This includes: - All cooked red vegetables - All cooked orange vegetables - Cooked yams - Cooked carrots (because there is red in them) - All bottled tomato sauces - All canned tomato sauces - Any other bottled or canned red or orange products
Aajonus stated: "Avoiding cooked red- and orange-pigmented fruits and vegetables (including all bottled or canned tomato sauces) usually eliminates acne."
He was careful to note that the restriction applies to cooked forms of these foods. The raw versions of the same foods actually help resolve the condition, they help the body eliminate stored residues and resins from cooked red or orange foods through the bowels, reducing the need to discharge them through the skin.
"Eating live red or orange foods helps the body eliminate stored residues and resins from cooked red or orange foods through the bowels (and less through the skin)." This is an important distinction, the raw versions of these foods facilitate elimination through the digestive route rather than through the skin, which is a less damaging route for these particular substances.
Raw tomatoes are featured prominently in this regard. A raw tomato drink is specified: 2–5 tomatoes blended with 1–4 tablespoons unheated honey and 1–2 tablespoons of raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar neutralizes toxins. Additionally, tomatoes with celery juice are recommended for sodium balance in people whose skin shows detoxification even while their tissue sodium looks sufficient.
Raw fat is the single most important food for addressing skin disorders including acne. Aajonus stated: "I have seen all skin disorders reconciled by raw butter consumption." Raw butter is the primary fat he recommended.
The reasoning is mechanical: when toxic substances pass through the pores, they burn, tear, and lacerate the cellular walls of the skin. If the cells have abundant fat, they are protected from this damage. The fat coats and cushions the cells, so that as the toxin passes through, the damage is minimized. Without adequate fat, the toxins cause maximum damage on their way out, resulting in the worst scarring and most severe lesions.
He stated: "We are so toxic that we need an abundant amount of fat to protect us from the toxins within us and outside of us." Fat also provides the body with material to bind to the toxic substances and escort them more safely through the tissue.
He recommended "lots of animal fat, especially no-salt", though the specific phrase was truncated in the source, the context is clearly raw animal fat as the primary therapeutic food.
Raw butter is the number-one food for all skin disorders according to Aajonus. He has seen every skin disorder reconciled by raw butter consumption. This applies to acne as part of the broader category of skin disorders caused by industrial chemicals exiting through the skin.
For acne caused specifically by drug residues (cocaine, Novocain, Lidocain) or other highly toxic industrial chemicals that require 200–4,000 white and/or fat cells to arrest a single molecule:
Protocol: Consuming 1–2 tablespoons of pre-prepared mixed clay in 2 ounces of water or juice, OR eating cheese with butter.
The purpose of both approaches is the same: to help the body absorb those highly toxic molecules into the bowels so they can be discarded through the rectum rather than through the skin. Clay is a powerful absorber of toxins and can redirect their exit route. Cheese with butter serves a similar absorbing function.
He referenced his own documented detoxification, photographed and logged, where "crystals were coming out" of his skin along with "solutions that could only come from a chemistry laboratory put into a human body." The clay protocol is specifically designed to reduce the worst of that skin-exit damage by redirecting it through the bowels.
"Eating a little cold-pressed-below-96° Fahrenheit fermented coconut oil or stone-pressed olive oil daily, 3 days weekly, helps remove and prevent scars." This is a specific internal protocol for scar prevention and reversal.
Coconut cream is referenced broadly as protective for the skin and as the best sunscreen. It also breaks down vitamin D for faster absorption. Aajonus consumed large amounts of it for skin protection.
For someone whose skin shows acne but whose tissue sodium levels appear sufficient, Aajonus recommended: "If he eats tomatoes and drinks the celery juice 99.95% of the time, that takes care of it." He clarified that the situation could be one where so much old toxic salt is in the system that it binds with incoming sodium, preventing proper balance, more tomatoes and watermelon with avocado would address this.
When consuming raw yam juice or starchy vegetable juices (recommended as substitutes for cooked red starches), these should be paired with fat: - Cheese when having the juice, OR - Cream in the juice
This pairing ensures that the fat is present to protect the digestive and lymphatic systems as they process the juice.

What to Avoid
- i
As detailed above, all cooked red and orange pigmented fruits and vegetables must be avoided. This is the primary dietary intervention. The list explicitly includes: - Cooked yams - Cooked carrots (for their red content) - Cooked red vegetables of all kinds - Cooked red fruits of all kinds - All bottled tomato sauces - All canned tomato sauces - Any canned or bottled red or orange food products
- ii
He was also cautious about individual variation: "It may be just certain red foods. But why take a chance at this time?" The recommendation is to avoid all of them rather than trying to identify which specific ones cause the problem.
- iii
Canned foods in general, soda pop from cans, these were identified as worsening teenage acne specifically, because of the metal and chemical content that then has to exit through the skin. The interaction of the can's lining (containing metals like tin and aluminum as antibacterials) with the food creates chemical compounds that become part of the toxic burden the skin must discharge.
- iv
"I have seen skin disorders caused by raw meat, when frozen. Freezing in a machine is an industrial process that causes many chemical byproducts. Do not eat meats that have been frozen." Freezing is an industrial process, and even raw meat that has been frozen creates chemical byproducts that can manifest as skin disorders.
- v
Aajonus identified iron in one-a-day vitamin supplements as a direct cause of blackheads. He stated: "Do you know how much blackheads increase when one-a-day vitamins get involved? Tremendously." He also noted that ascorbic acid (synthetic vitamin C) has molecular structures like broken glass that cut through cells and blood vessels, contributing to skin damage.
- vi
He also cited vitamin E from synthetic sources (such as film developing processes, Kodak, Fuji) as causing the skin of his movie star patients to become translucent thin and to start tearing.
- vii
Aajonus was completely opposed to medical treatments for acne. These treatments suppress the detoxification process, forcing toxins to remain in the body. He specifically named: - Acne drugs - Laser surgery ("let's stretch your face so you look like a stretched drum") - Topical chemical treatments - Antibacterial soaps and face washes (these are included in a broader list of toxic products in his newsletters)
- viii
His reasoning was that stopping the skin-discharge process means the toxins must go somewhere else: either into the intestines (damaging digestion and absorption) or stored in the body (eventually causing cancer or organ failure).
- ix
All commercial skin products, soaps, lotions, creams, sunscreens, smother and poison the skin. "If you can't eat it, why would you feed it to your skin?" He listed specific commercial products in his newsletters as toxic, including Clearasil Daily Face Wash and other acne-specific products. The general principle is that anything applied to the skin should be edible.
- x
He was also specific about olive oil: "If their skin is very sensitive and very light, do not use olive oil, because it will have a tendency to break them out in blemishes or little sores or even rashes, like a heat rash. It's too heavy." This was specifically for topical application.
- xi
"Almond oil. It will dry out the skin. The skin cells are not meant to eat oil." He recommended against almond oil for topical application, directing people instead toward butter (the best option), or the Primal Facial Body Care Cream.
- xii
Honey applied to the skin is beneficial in small quantities, but if applied too thickly or for too long, "it blocks the skin from being able to absorb oxygen. And it will cause... claustrophobic and irritated" responses. He described waking up unable to breathe after applying honey too thickly to his own face. The instruction for honey topically is to apply it very thinly, or diluted in milk, or combined with butter, and always in minimal amounts. "If you put it on thinly and your body absorbs it, it's done."
- xiii
Aajonus recounted a specific case from his childhood: his brothers had acne, and their father (an inventor and engineer with GE) bought an infrared lamp for them. After using it mildly over two weeks, it damaged their skins. His father discontinued the advice, stating that "obviously the human skin was not adapted to use isolated infrared properly." Aajonus's conclusion: "Any time radiation is created by a nuclear or nuclearized mineral, even infrared, it is an isolated ray and has not been found to be beneficial long-term, even when in the least magnitude." Infrared lamps are explicitly contraindicated for acne or skin problems.

Recovery Timeline
Aajonus was honest that acne caused by accumulated industrial chemical residues in the body can take many years to fully resolve:
"Certain toxins must be removed through the skin instead of through the bowels. Therefore, a few pimples may be unavoidable until those toxins are completely cleansed from the system. Removing them could take many years."
This is because the body has accumulated decades of industrial chemical exposure, from drugs, preservatives, pesticides, vaccines, processed foods, synthetic vitamins, and each molecule of these substances must be individually arrested by white blood cells and fat cells, transported to the skin, and expelled. For the most toxic substances, a single molecule requires 200–4,000 white and/or fat cells to escort it. This is a slow, laborious process.
For the simpler form of acne caused by cooked red and orange food allergy, avoiding those foods "usually eliminates acne." This would be the fastest resolution, potentially occurring within weeks of eliminating the offending foods.
The scarring from acne can take even longer. Tony Plana's scarring, heavy scarring from acne, reduced over time to "a tenth of what he used to have" through persistent topical treatment, but no timeline is specified beyond the fact that it was a significant multi-year process.
In the case where acne stems from vaccine residues, heavy metals, or pharmaceutical drug residues that have been deposited in the body, Aajonus indicated these require hot baths (105–108 degrees, 35–40 minutes daily) if the lymphatic system is impacted and the connective tissue is congested, to help pull the toxins through the skin at an accelerated rate without causing as much damage.
Aajonus also noted from his personal experience that the detox process, when photographed and logged, showed extraordinary chemistry, "crystals coming out," substances "that could only come from a chemistry laboratory put into a human body." He documented his own detoxification over extended periods precisely to show how severe and prolonged this process can be.

Questions Aajonus Answered
- Q: From a participant about her recent pimples appearing after starting the diet:
Sally stated she had a few pimples when she was a kid, never gets them, and is having them now. She believed it was from purifying from the diet.
Aajonus: "I would say she shouldn't eat red cooked starches. So, no cooked yams. I can tell by the scars on her chin that she had some allergy there, and particular glands were dumping it out right there. So she has an allergy to cooked red foods. It's not an extreme allergy, but it's there."
- Q: "How do you know it's the red ones?"
Aajonus: "Because that corresponds to breaking out. Pimples. And it may be just certain red foods. But why take a chance at this time?"
- Q: "Allergies in general are a lack of tolerance to... lack of enzyme mutations for cooked red foods?"
Aajonus: "No. You can have different allergies for different cooked colors of food. But the acne usually appears from allergy to cooked red. That means even if you have cooked carrots because there is red in it."
- Q: "So that's about the only starch not to cook, the yam?"
Sally: "So I would have that raw or in juice?" Aajonus: "In juice. And in conjunction with some kind of a fat. You could have cheese when you have the juice or you could have cream in it."
- Q: From a participant asking about mild acne and blisters, whether it is hormonal:
Aajonus: "That is usually toxicity coming out of the tissues. Like the byproducts of your usual hormone supplements."
- Q: About salt craving and someone whose skin shows acne, does the acne mean they lack sodium?
Aajonus: "Even though you've got acne, I can see that you've got enough sodium in your tissue, in your skin, so your blood is not starved. However, you may have so much old toxic salt in your system that it binds with most of the sodium that you're eating, and you're not getting enough sodium for a balanced, relaxed feeling. Just eat more tomatoes. Watermelon in the afternoon. Watermelon and avocado."
- Q: About urine washing for acne, the mother's story:
Aajonus: Described his mother's experience: "When I was a teenager, back in the early 30s, she had terrible acne and the neighbor woman told my grandmother, my mother's mother, that she should wash her face with urine, her urine. And my mother was so vain, she didn't want the acne. She washed her face with urine and the acne went away. And anytime she had acne, she used urine to wash it away."
He explained the mechanism: "What she was really doing was feeding fat, good microscopic amounts of fat into the cells, into that area so when the toxic substances came out to the pores, the skin was not irritated, the skin was protected. It also had acetates that were reduced to very fine molecules that would go in there and reduce the poisons to the acetate fluid so the white blood cells could go back and recede and get back into the system. So the body didn't have to lose a lot of white blood cells fighting with those toxins as they came out the zits."
The result: instead of a pus-filled pimple, "you have a little crystal that will come out that you don't even notice. You may pick it off and feel it." The urine essentially neutralizes the toxin in situ, the white blood cells leave, and the remnant passes through as a tiny dry crystal.
He also stated in his book context: "The concentration of nutrients and ammonia in the urine aids the cleansing and healing of the skin."
- Q (implicit, from newsletter context): Do I have skin disorders because of liver problems, and would carrot juice help?
Aajonus: "There are many reasons for skin disorders. Ninety percent of toxins and body waste are supposed to discharge through the skin, ten percent through the mucous membranes and intestines. We should expect skin disorders such as rashes, acne and hives. All skin disorders are caused by industrial chemicals. I have seen skin disorders caused by raw meat, when frozen. Freezing in a machine is an industrial process that causes many chemical byproducts. Do not eat meats that have been frozen. But I have seen all skin disorders reconciled by raw butter consumption."
- Q (implicit): What about Tony Plana's acne scarring, what did you use?
Aajonus: Referenced a substance (implied to be raw meat or a topical preparation) that "caused his skin to smell like vomit. And it would help break down, of course, all the scarring because he was heavily scarred from acne. And now he probably has a tenth of what he used to have. And it cleaned the scarring up wonderfully. However, he smelled like vomit all the time. So, you know, there's trade-offs."
- Q (implicit): What about chips, does eating chips cause acne?
Aajonus: "90% of toxins leave in the skin. You're going to have acne, you're going to have rashes, you're going to have all kinds of skin problems over the years. Well, when you're a teenager, you've got to do a heavy detox from the glands, because you're altering hormonal production. And that's the big change. Of course, the glands are throwing off all those toxins that are going to the skin. And the brain does its realignment too. Huge realignment. The pituitary becomes a little bit more active because of the toxicity."
- Q: "What about the Primal Facial Body Care Cream for acne?"
Aajonus described the optimal formulation: "One with butter, one with coconut cream, and one with dairy cream. If you make it four parts, and use one with a tiny bit of honey in it, and the royal jelly in it, that is a phenomenal one. Phenomenal moisturizer for the skin."
---
Topical Protocols
Aajonus provided multiple specific topical protocols for acne:
He noted this is an Ayurvedic medical method.
For those with sensitive, light skin: use butter, not olive oil. Olive oil is too heavy for very light or sensitive skin and may cause blemishes, little sores, or heat rashes. Those with good Italian or Latin skin can use olive oil or peanut oil without issue.
For wearing makeup over a topical fat: allow butter to absorb for twenty minutes, then wipe it off right before applying makeup. The skin will have absorbed the fat, protected itself, and the makeup will not penetrate the cells.
