Hair Loss
Hair LossAlso known as Balding

Balding, according to Aajonus Vonderplanitz, is the rapid or gradual loss of hair growth that results from the body using the hair follicle system as a channel for discharging accumulated toxic metallic poisons. It is not a disease in the conventional sense. It is not a hormonal deficiency. It is not a thyroid malfunction. It is not a genetic inevitability, though genetics is a concept Aajonus repeatedly challenged as having little bearing on reality, used primarily to prevent people from taking responsibility for what they put in their bodies.

Aajonus's Definition

Balding, according to Aajonus Vonderplanitz, is the rapid or gradual loss of hair growth that results from the body using the hair follicle system as a channel for discharging accumulated toxic metallic poisons. It is not a disease in the conventional sense. It is not a hormonal deficiency. It is not a thyroid malfunction. It is not a genetic inevitability, though genetics is a concept Aajonus repeatedly challenged as having little bearing on reality, used primarily to prevent people from taking responsibility for what they put in their bodies.

Hair itself, in Aajonus's framework, serves multiple biological purposes: it protects the head from excessive sun radiation, it insulates temperature-sensitive areas (the brain, the genitals, the sperm), and critically, it functions as one of the body's primary channels for excreting toxic metallic minerals. The hair shaft is dead tissue outside the follicle, which means it can safely contain concentrated heavy metals, mercury, lead, aluminum, cadmium, and others, without those metals causing immediate cellular damage. The body exploits this property strategically to route dangerous metals out of living tissue by building them into the hair structure.

Hair loss occurs when that process of routing metals through the follicle damages or destroys the follicle itself. When concentrations of toxic metals are high enough, or when particular metals like AZT-associated compounds and chemotherapy alkaloids pass through, they can permanently or temporarily scar and disable the follicle. When the follicle is damaged, hair cannot regrow from that site. This is the mechanism of balding.

Balding is defined as "the rapid or gradual loss of hair growth, usually occurring from metal-poisoning from canned foods, aluminum cooking utensils, deodorants, shampoos, soaps, and medication." Poor oxygen utilization is cited as sometimes causative as well.

Root Cause

Root Cause

Primary Cause: Heavy Metal Poisoning Damaging Hair Follicles

The central, primary cause of hair loss in Aajonus's framework is the passage of toxic metallic minerals through the scalp and hair follicles, with the metals damaging or destroying the follicular tissue as they are excreted. He describes this process in multiple seminars in consistent detail:

"You have a lot of poison metals in the skull and it goes out the head, you're going to lose hair. That's what causes hair loss. All of those metals leaving through the skull and they damage the follicle."

The specific metals he repeatedly names as causative in hair loss include:

  • Mercury, causes graying, damage to follicles, and hair loss; particularly associated with vaccines, amalgam dental fillings, fish (especially frozen fish), and industrial exposure
  • Lead, causes hair damage and discoloration
  • Aluminum, the most frequently cited cause of graying; destroys the parabenzoic acid (also called PABA, or paraminobenzoic acid) within the follicle, which is the B-vitamin responsible for regulating pigmentation; aluminum also contributes directly to hair loss
  • Cadmium, listed among the heavy metals built into hair
  • Thallium, mentioned in the context of hair loss mechanisms
  • AZT and chemotherapy alkaloids, Aajonus's own balding resulted from AZT chemotherapy he received in 1968, which was a Freon-derived drug given to cancer patients and outlawed the following year; these chemicals caused permanent follicle damage that never fully recovered

He states explicitly: "It's not true that thyroid causes hair loss. It's mercury. Then it's thallium. Then it's lead."

Sources of These Metals

Aajonus identifies specific environmental and dietary sources:

  • Canned foods, metal leaches from the cans
  • Aluminum cooking utensils, aluminum transfers to food during cooking
  • Deodorants, especially aluminum-based antiperspirants
  • Shampoos and soaps, absorbed through the scalp and skin into the body and brain
  • Medications, particularly chemotherapy drugs, AZT, penicillin injections, vaccines, and forced injections
  • Kombucha, Aajonus observed that vegetarians consuming kombucha from 1988–1993 lost their hair; he attributed this to the kombucha's fungal activity dissolving dead nerve endings and capillary tissue before the body had sufficient protein and fat reserves to handle that level of detoxification
Secondary Cause: Poor Oxygen Utilization

Aajonus acknowledges that poor oxygen utilization is sometimes causative of balding, as a secondary mechanism distinct from but related to the primary metal-poisoning pathway.

The PABA Connection: Graying and Loss Together

The mechanism that causes both graying and hair loss often operates simultaneously. The parabenzoic acid (PABA, also written as paraminobenzoic acid or pyramid benzoic acid in his transcripts) glands sit within the follicle. When heavy metals, especially aluminum, pass through the follicle during detoxification:

1. The body uses up PABA to neutralize and manage those metals 2. PABA depletion destroys the pigmentation regulation mechanism 3. Hair turns gray as a result 4. If metal concentrations are high enough, they additionally scar the follicle itself 5. The follicle then can no longer produce hair → balding

Aajonus tested this directly: "Whenever I take a gray area as opposed to a colored area, and had it tested, the mercury was off the charts." And: "Whenever I start going gray, I have my hair checked, high in aluminum. The highest thing will be aluminum. Sometimes mercury also."

The False Thyroid Theory: Why It Is Wrong

Aajonus devotes extensive time in multiple seminars to completely demolishing the thyroid-hair loss connection. His arguments are based on direct experimental observation:

"I've seen plenty of people with plenty of thyroxine in their body go bald."

"When you lose your hair, do you see very low levels of thyroxin? People who are bald have lots of thyroxin."

He describes his proof through the football experiment: He arranged access to a football team for a full year. When players were knocked unconscious, heart stopped, breathing stopped, thyroxine levels in the blood were found to be phenomenally, sky-high elevated when measured. This was the body deploying thyroxine to restart cardiac and pulmonary function. The conclusion: thyroxine's biological function is emergency cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation, not hair growth or weight regulation.

"Thyroid has nothing to do with hair growth. It has nothing to do with energy level. It has nothing to do with how the adrenal glands work."

The thyroid gland has two lobes plus four parathyroid glands (two per side), creating six thyroid-class glands total. Aajonus asks: what is so important to the body that it requires five backup systems? Answer: protecting the heart and lungs from cessation. This backup architecture proves the thyroid's true function. Hair, he argues, would never warrant this level of anatomical redundancy.

The pharmaceutical industry exploits universal human vanity, fear of balding and fear of weight gain, as psychological leverage to sell thyroxine supplementation. "Nobody wants to be fat. Nobody wants to be bald." Since most people are overweight and many experience hair loss, the market is enormous and the fear-based hook works.

The PUFA Pathway

In a Q&A from March 2013, a questioner raised Raymond Peat's theory that hair loss is caused by estrogen and prolactin production from polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), with mercury, thallium, and lead as additional causative agents. Aajonus's response confirmed:

"Would detoxing PUFAs disrupt hormones leading to hair loss? Yes."

He confirmed that bodies store PUFAs and are partially built from them, particularly in individuals who consumed margarine and vegetable oils extensively. His estimate for removing PUFAs:

  • With daily 90-minute hot baths and frequent daily cheese consumption: as little as 27 years
  • Without those interventions: potentially 60 years on a perfect diet
Genetics: Not a Valid Explanation

Aajonus directly rejected genetic determinism as an explanation for balding: "Because then you'll blame your baldness or whatever problem you have, not on what's going in your body and what's in your body. So you'll blame your parents' genes. You can't do anything with genes, right? They don't want you tampering with your diet. And that's where it all comes from, your diet and toxicity."

Why This Happens

Why This Happens

Balding and hair loss sit primarily in the Detoxification and Root Cause / Terrain Theory of Aajonus's framework.

Hair loss is not a primary disease, it is a symptom of the body's detoxification process. The body is actively and correctly trying to eliminate accumulated metallic poisons by routing them out through the hair follicles. The problem is collateral damage: if the concentration of toxins is high enough, or if the toxins are particularly corrosive (chemotherapy alkaloids, AZT, Freon-derived compounds, high mercury), the follicles are damaged in the process of being used as excretory channels.

This places it also within the Cooked Food, because cooked and processed food, canned goods, hydrogenated oils, vegetable oils, heated meats, is the primary vector by which these toxic metals and PUFAs enter and accumulate in the body. And within the How to Live / Sovereignty, because the pharmaceutical industry's exploitation of hair-loss fear to sell thyroid medications is a direct example of the medical-industrial complex's manipulation of public health for profit.

The condition also touches on the Raw Food because raw fat, raw animal protein, and specific raw berries are the primary tools Aajonus recommends both internally and topically to address the problem.

Symptoms Reframed

Symptoms Reframed

Hair Loss Itself: Not Pathology But Detoxification

In Aajonus's framework, the fact that hair falls out is not itself the disease process. The body is correctly doing what it must do, routing dangerous heavy metals out through the one tissue type that can safely contain high concentrations of metal without causing immediate cellular destruction (the dead hair shaft). Hair loss is the body sacrificing a non-essential structure (the follicle) to protect essential structures deeper in the body.

"The body's still trying to throw it all off."

The problem is not the detoxification attempt. The problem is the quantity and toxicity of the metals being excreted, which at high concentrations cause collateral follicular damage.

Graying: Reframed as Evidence of Metal Excretion

Gray hair is not aging. It is not genetic. It is direct evidence that the body is routing aluminum and/or mercury through the hair follicles. When PABA within the follicle is consumed managing those metals, pigmentation regulation fails and the hair turns gray. This process is reversible when the excretion cycle ends, Aajonus documents his own hair returning from gray to natural color multiple times as detox phases completed.

"After the detox, my hair color comes back. So the body can heal itself as long as you're treating the problem, giving the nutrients to heal itself."

"Sometimes I'll have a patch for the last six months to a year on the back of either side. After that detoxes, my hair color comes back."

Hydrogen Peroxide Buildup: Reframed

When scientists reported that gray hair is caused by hydrogen peroxide buildup in the follicle, Aajonus responded: "They did not tell the cause of too much hydrogen peroxide buildup. It is a result of toxic metallic minerals being discarded by being built into the hair, damaging the follicles and destroying PABA." The hydrogen peroxide is a consequence, not a cause.

Permanent vs. Temporary Hair Loss

Temporary hair loss occurs when follicles are stressed but not destroyed by the detox process, hair eventually returns as the body clears the relevant toxic metals. Permanent hair loss occurs when the follicle itself is scarred beyond repair, as in severe chemotherapy exposure. Aajonus's own bald spot from 1968 AZT treatment remained largely unrecovered for decades. However, he notes gradual improvement even in permanent cases over many years.

Ridged Nails Alongside Hair Loss

Nail ridging occurs simultaneously with gray hair and hair loss as part of the same detox process. Both nails and hair are the body's primary mineral excretion channels. When toxic mineral deposits in the body (Aajonus identified specific deposits in his gonads and brain through iridology) begin to discharge, both gray hair and nail ridges appear together, then resolve together when the detox phase completes.

Food Protocol

Food Protocol

Internal Protocol

Raw Berries with Raw Coconut Cream, Raw Butter, and Raw Cream: "Eating raw berries with raw coconut cream, a little unsalted raw butter and a little raw cream helps bind with the metals so that they do not cause as much damage to follicles."

This is the foundational internal remedy, the fats bind with the toxic metals before they reach the follicle, reducing the concentration of free metal passing through follicular tissue and thus reducing follicular damage.

The Specific Raspberry Formula for Graying (and Hair Loss)

From Q&A (July 2012 and March 2013):

"3/4, 1 cup raspberries with 3–4 tablespoons coconut cream, 1–2 tablespoons dairy cream, 3 tablespoons lime juice, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar."

Protocol: Consume every day for 3 weeks, then at least 3 days weekly for as long as hair is gray or hair loss is occurring.

Timing: As the fruit meal in the afternoon. Not with meat. Not on empty stomach competing with other functions.

Aajonus explains the mechanism: "Raspberries and eggs or raspberries and cream together will help pull those out." He specifies that raspberries and blackberries, being heavy in minerals, are specifically capable of pulling out mineral deposits and drug deposits from tissue. Citrus does not do this: "Citrus pulls out fat storages, dead cells and stuff like that, but not minerals. Got to have a berry that's heavy in minerals."

Raw Fat as the Primary Metal Binder

Aajonus states: "It takes 50–200 molecules of fat to harness one molecule of mercury. That ratio is almost impossible to achieve with all of the vaccines and other mercury sources in our society."

This underscores why raw fat, raw butter, raw coconut cream, raw dairy cream, raw meat fats, must be consumed abundantly and consistently to keep pace with the body's metal excretion through follicles. Insufficient fat means metals pass through follicles unbound, causing more damage.

Raw Butter and Raw Bone Marrow (Topical and Internal)

This is one of Aajonus's most developed protocols for hair regrowth:

"I started putting in bone marrow, and all of a sudden, other people were, I had five other people experimenting with it, and it's helping everybody get their hair thicker, and some even growing."

Formula: approximately half butter to one-third bone marrow, melted together. Apply topically to scalp two to three times per week. Do not wash hair after application, leave it in.

Aajonus explains the biological rationale: bone marrow contains stem cells with no DNA restriction on cell type, they can differentiate into nerve cells, follicle cells, or any required cell type. Adult stem cells from bone marrow are the key regenerative ingredient. The butter provides the fat substrate to thicken and support existing follicles while the marrow provides the stem cell matrix for regeneration.

He also notes: "Just using butter helps too, it helps thicken the hair."

Raw Parsley Juice with Celery Juice

Drinking parsley juice combined with celery juice helps oxygen absorption, addressing the secondary causative factor (poor oxygen utilization) in hair loss.

Naturally Carbonated Waters

Drinking naturally carbonated waters helps oxygen absorption, again addressing the oxygen utilization pathway.

Two Meat Meals Daily with Lubrication Formula

In one direct consultation with a person experiencing heavy bile in the system and hair loss, Aajonus recommended: two meat meals a day, a lubrication formula for each meat meal, and 2 ounces of cream sipped 4–5 times per day, with at least 4 cherry tomatoes each time with the cream, to help capture toxins throughout the system and relax the nerves.

Cheese (for PUFA Removal)

Aajonus confirmed that cheese eaten frequently and daily, combined with daily 90-minute hot baths, helps remove accumulated PUFAs from the body, which contribute to hormonal disruption and hair loss. The timeline he gives: as little as 27 years with consistent daily cheese and daily hot baths.

Topical Protocol "Rubbing into the scalp a blended mixture of 1 ounce fresh raw aloe vera gel (directly from the inside of the leaf) and 2 ounces never-been-heated-above-96°F fermented coconut oil helps protect the scalp and follicles. That usually stops hair loss and sometimes promotes hair growth within several weeks, unless you have an allergy to shampoo."

This is a specific topical application, the fermented coconut oil must never have been heated above 96°F. The aloe vera must be fresh gel taken directly from inside the leaf. Combined, these protect the scalp and follicular tissue from the damage caused by metals exiting through the follicles.

Aajonus's Own Hair Product Formula (from Early Training)

From Early Training: Aajonus washes his hair with a blended preparation of: one whole raw egg, approximately ten strawberries (or five to six large ones), one tablespoon of honey, and enough raw milk to fill a 10-ounce canning jar. Blend until warm (approximately three minutes). Pour some off into a four-ounce jar for the hair. He then adds a teaspoon of clay to the larger portion for another use. This replaces commercial shampoo entirely.

The Egg Shampoo Approach

Wet hair, wash hair and scalp with a whipped raw whole egg, let the egg remain on the scalp, then rinse.

Fertility Egg and Mineral Water Drink

Mentioned in Q&A as part of the mineral-replacement protocol for hair issues, along with tomatoes, raw unsalted cheeses, celery and celery juice, Terramin clay, oysters, and raw fish.

Mud on Bald Areas

For bald spots exposed to excessive sun: Aajonus recommends applying mud directly to exposed bald areas when spending extended time outdoors in sun. He does this himself for his chemotherapy-induced bald spot.

What to Avoid

What to Avoid

  • i

Aajonus cites shampoos as a contributing cause of balding: "unless you have an allergy to shampoo", implying that shampoo allergies and toxicities play a direct role. Standard shampoos and antibacterial shampoos poison the scalp, and those poisons are absorbed into the body and brain.

  • ii

Aajonus himself uses no commercial shampoo or conditioner.

  • iii

Specifically cited as a source of aluminum and other metal poisoning that causes balding. Aluminum-based antiperspirants contribute directly to the aluminum burden that destroys PABA and causes graying and follicle damage.

  • iv

Cooking with aluminum pots and pans directly adds to the body's aluminum burden. Aluminum completely neutralizes PABA, destroying the hair's pigmentation mechanism and contributing to follicular damage.

  • v

Cited directly as a cause of the metal poisoning that produces balding.

  • vi

Aajonus observed from 1988 through 1993 that men who consumed kombucha (particularly vegetarians consuming approximately one quarter cup per day) lost their hair. The kombucha was dissolving dead nerve endings and capillaries, but without adequate dietary fat and protein (the vegetarian diet was severely deficient in both), the body could not manage the resulting detoxification load, and the process damaged follicles. "You're going to lose hair. The people that I studied from 1989 all the way, no, 1988 all the way through 1993, most of the men lost their hair." This is a clear warning: kombucha without adequate fat and meat protein support creates hair loss.

  • vii

Aajonus warns explicitly that too much fruit forces intense detoxification: "The only way that your diet can accelerate detoxification is if you eat a lot of fruit." Consuming more than one fruit meal daily can drive metal excretion through the hair faster than the follicles can withstand, accelerating both graying and potential hair loss. He recommends minimal fruit, once daily maximum, to keep detoxification at a manageable pace that does not overwhelm follicular tissue.

  • viii

One specific example: eating a whole pineapple per day burns up approximately three pints of fat. Without adequate fat, the body cannot bind metals before they pass through follicles. "If you eat a whole pineapple a day, you're burning up all your fats. You're going to be dry forever."

  • ix

Taking thyroid supplementation or thyroid drugs does nothing to stop hair loss because thyroid function is unrelated to hair growth. However, taking synthetic thyroxine introduces additional pharmaceutical chemicals into the body, adding to the overall toxic burden without addressing the actual cause.

  • x

Vaccines are a major source of mercury, thallium, and other metals. Aajonus specifically mentions tetanus shots and vaccines in the context of high mercury poisoning leading to hair loss. His own forced injections in 2009 caused a tremendous increase in hair loss over the following 18 months, confirmed by pre- and post-injection hair analysis showing exponential increases in toxic elements.

  • xi

Aajonus discusses a specific scenario: frozen fish has a high mercury content. Freezing destabilizes the molecular unit of mercury, converting it from organic mercury to what he describes as a "rock variety" of mercury that, when it works to detoxify the person, can produce severe reactions including hair loss and graying. For someone already high in mercury, consuming high-mercury frozen fish could cause significant follicular damage.

  • xii

Extended strict fruitarian diets (beyond three to seven years for most people) lead to mineral and protein imbalances, with bone and hair loss frequently resulting. "Bone and hair loss results after, frequently with fruitarians."

Recovery Timeline

Recovery Timeline

The 60% Rule

Aajonus is notably candid and honest about the limitations of hair regrowth. He states directly: "People have reversed their hair, but it's not something that happens any more than 60% of the time." This is one of only two conditions (alongside Alzheimer's, where mental function often does not improve even as the body physically rejuvenates) that Aajonus identifies as not reliably reversing on the Primal Diet.

Chemotherapy-Induced Permanent Loss

For people who have lost hair due to chemotherapy, AZT, or severe pharmaceutical poisoning: "Usually people that have that much bile in the system don't get their hair back." In one direct consultation with a high-bile patient, Aajonus told him: "You're one of those with all that bile... maybe in 12 years when you get rid of the bile, maybe that's a possibility, but I haven't seen anybody do it yet."

For Aajonus himself, his AZT-induced bald spot from 1968 showed only very gradual improvement over decades. However: "In fact, it is recovering a little bit in the last five years. I had more hair gone before. Now I've got a little bit more hair. It's taken all these years to get rid of that much of the AZT."

Without Chemotherapy or Pharmaceutical Poisoning

For individuals who have not had chemotherapy or major pharmaceutical poisoning, recovery is expected to be faster and more complete. In one seminar exchange:

Q: "I have this hair falling problem. Do you think this will slow it down?" A: "Definitely. Well, getting the proteins is what usually stops it. Unless you had chemotherapy or poisoned yourself." Q: "I haven't taken any medication at all." A: "Then you should reverse very quickly. Stabilize. Because usually people who haven't had that..."

Aajonus describes clients who were going bald and got on the diet and now have full heads of hair: "I've had clients who were going bald in the hair stranding. They got on this diet and now they look like Pascal. And I mean they will go around like that too because they are so proud of it. They go around with these bouffants."

Hair Color Recovery Timeline

After Aajonus's chemotherapy in 1968, his hair grew back in patches and was entirely gray for 21 months. Over the following years, color gradually returned, cycling in and out with detox phases. "It took me about eight years for it to go back to its natural color."

Individual gray patches resolve over months to a year depending on the detox cycle. Aajonus describes a patch on the side of his head that was completely gray four or five years ago, whose color returned within six months. A different patch that was fully gray two years prior to one seminar had reduced to a small portion. Patches on the back of either side periodically last six months to a year. These cycles reflect specific toxic mineral deposits in specific body locations discharging through nearby follicles.

The Topical Formula Timeline

The aloe vera gel and fermented coconut oil topical application "usually stops hair loss and sometimes promotes hair growth within several weeks."

Bone Marrow and Butter Topical

Hair thickening and new growth in spaces where hair had not grown began for Aajonus and five other experimenters relatively quickly after beginning the bone marrow and butter topical application, though no specific timeline for new growth is given beyond "gradual."

PUFA Removal and Hair Loss Recovery

For someone who consumed 90% margarine and vegetable oils for the first 20 years of life: with daily 90-minute hot baths and frequent daily cheese, PUFA removal might take as little as 27 years. Without those interventions, up to 60 years on a perfect diet. Hair loss associated with PUFA-driven hormonal disruption would not fully resolve until the PUFAs are cleared.

Severe Toxic Exposure Cases

Aajonus documents his own progression after forced injections in 2009 as a case study in severe toxic exposure causing hair loss. His hair analysis before and after injections showed exponential increases in nearly all toxic elements. His hair loss accelerated tremendously in the 18 months following, particularly in the four to five months immediately prior to the seminar at which he discussed it. New growth had begun appearing in spaces where hair had not grown, as the body actively routed these new toxins out through the hair. He expressed hope that within a year or two he would reverse most of the damage.

Questions Aajonus Answered

Questions Aajonus Answered

  • Q: Hair Loss Slowing on the Diet?

"I have this hair falling problem. Do you think this will slow it down?"

Aajonus: "Definitely. Well, getting the proteins is what usually stops it. Unless you had chemotherapy or poisoned yourself."

    Questioner confirmed no medications taken.

Aajonus: "Then you should reverse very quickly. Stabilize. Because usually people who haven't had that. I've had clients who were going bald in the hair stranding. They got on this diet and now they look like Pascal."

    ---

  • Q: Consultation with High-Bile Patient Experiencing Hair Loss

The person had two meat meals per day recommended, a lubrication formula with each meat meal, 2 ounces of cream sipped 4–5 times daily, and at least 4 cherry tomatoes each time with the cream. Aajonus noted that with that much bile in the system, hair regrowth was unlikely:

"Usually people that have that much bile in the system don't get their hair back. It's like I said, that 40% of my book that don't grow their hair back, you're one of those with all that bile. You know, maybe in 12 years when you get rid of the bile, maybe that's a possibility, but I haven't seen anybody do it yet."

    ---

  • Q: July 14, 2012, Re: Graying Hair (Full Exchange)

The questioner had been 90% compliant with the Primal Diet since 2004, read both books, and had experienced rapid graying over 18–24 months. Father and uncles on both sides lived and died with full natural hair color. Siblings had no gray hair despite eating SAD diet.

    Q1: What causes gray hair?

Aajonus: "As I stated in my books and newsletters, graying hair is usually caused by heavy metals, especially aluminum. However, some people are able to rid the body of aluminum by building aluminum into hair without causing graying. Over the age of 50, it is very difficult to stop aluminum from graying hair because of all of the toxins that have accumulated and deficiencies that result. However, I have seen gray come and go in my hair since chemo in 1968. Since I was abducted and injected in 2009, my hair has gone much more toward gray."

    Q2: Is it reversible?

Implied yes in cases where detox phases complete. Reversibility depends on whether ongoing detoxification is occurring or whether the accumulation of toxins over age 50 creates a persistent graying state.

Q3: What is the PD protocol for gray hair?

Raspberry formula: 3/4–1 cup raspberries with 3–4 tablespoons coconut cream, 1–2 tablespoons dairy cream, 3 tablespoons lime juice, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar.

Protocol: every day for 3 weeks, then at least 3 days weekly for as long as hair is gray.

Aajonus also emphasized: "The only way that your diet can accelerate detoxification is if you eat a lot of fruit, and that is not what the PD is. I suggest only one fruit meal daily. If that is all you consume, then the diet is not forcing your intense metal detoxification through the hair. It would be your body's choice."

Q4: Timing of the raspberry mixture?

"As your fruit meal in the afternoon." Not with meat. Not on empty stomach independently of other meals.

    ---

  • Q: Questioner Just Turned 46, Raw Vegan for Nearly a Decade Before PD, Rapid Acceleration of Graying in Last 18 Months

Aajonus confirmed the same raspberry mixture protocol and timing. He confirmed: fruit in excess forces metal detox through the hair. Keeping to one fruit meal daily means detox pace is the body's own choice rather than being driven by dietary fructose.

    ---

  • Q: March 2013, Raymond Peat's Theory on Hair Loss

The questioner raised Peat's theory that hair loss is caused by estrogen/prolactin production from PUFAs, and noted consuming 90% margarine and vegetable oils for first 20 years. Also asked about Peat/Roddy recommendations for thyroid, OJ, pineapple, papaya, salt, and sugar.

Aajonus: Confirmed PUFAs cause hair loss through hormonal disruption. Confirmed bodies store and are made of PUFAs. Confirmed that detoxing PUFAs disrupts hormones, leading to hair loss.

On coconut oil vs. coconut cream: "True about butter, but better coconut cream rather than coconut oil."

On unheated honey: confirmed as best among sugar options they recommend.

On salt: "The damage by salt far exceeds the benefits of 'correcting' aldosterone and other hormone 'imbalances'."

On hair loss specifically: "To minimize hair loss, toxins must be neutralized as they pass into the follicles, and follicles must be strengthened with raw bone marrow and no-salt raw butter rubbed into the scalp. It takes 50–200 molecules of fat to harness one molecule of mercury. That ratio is almost impossible to achieve with all of the vaccines and other mercury sources in our society. Peat and Roddy do not have the whole picture."

PUFA removal timeline given: 27 years minimum with daily 90-minute hot baths and frequent daily cheese; up to 60 years on a perfect diet without those.

    ---

  • Q: March 10, 2009, Re BBC Article: Experts Uncover Cause of Grayness

The article linked a study claiming hydrogen peroxide buildup causes gray hair.

Aajonus: "They did not tell the cause of too much hydrogen peroxide buildup. It is a result of toxic metallic minerals being discarded by being built into the hair, damaging the follicles and destroying PABA."

    ---

  • Q: Bald Spot, Sun Exposure Concern

Questioner asked about going in the sun without covering a bald area.

Aajonus: For bald areas, apply mud directly to the exposed scalp. "If I'm out there too long, I'll put mud on the place." This is what he does himself with his chemotherapy-induced bald spot.

    ---

  • Q: Nail Ridges and Hair Loss Connection

Questioner: "The ridges on the nails, any concern with that? Does that mean anything to my dry hair?"

Aajonus: "Well, those ridges mean that you're putting out a lot of the toxic minerals from solvents that were in the hands. And that would go on for years and years and years. But there's a nice sheen on them. So that means they're good and strong."

On dry hair: "You're very dry. If you're eating a pineapple a day, you're burning up all your fats. You're going to be dry forever. A pineapple, if you eat a whole pineapple a day, that will burn up about three pints of fat."

  • Aajonus's Personal Case Study: The Most Detailed

Aajonus presents his own body as the most thoroughly documented case study of hair loss and regrowth. Key documented events:

    1. 1968: Received AZT chemotherapy (Freon-derived, outlawed the following year). Lost all hair. Hair grew back in patches. The patch on top of his head never fully recovered. All hair grew back gray.

    2. Gray hair for 21 months after chemotherapy, then gradual color return over approximately 8 years.

    3. Ongoing cycles: As he detoxes specific mineral deposits (documented through iridology as yellow deposits in gonads and brain), his hair turns gray in specific patches, then returns to natural color as the detox phase completes. Concurrent nail ridging occurs.

    4. Multiple gray patch episodes documented: A patch on the side entirely gray four to five years before one seminar → color returned within six months. This entire side gray two years before → reduced to a small portion. The very top/crown has remained persistently gray for approximately six years, slowly reducing.

    5. 2009 forced injections: Hair analysis before injections showed metals at approximately 2.8–4.1 levels (on a scale where 11 is highly toxic). After injections, nearly all toxic elements increased exponentially. Hair loss accelerated tremendously over the following 18 months. New growth began appearing as the body started routing the injected toxins out through hair follicles.
